Tim Sharkey Sets New World? Record
Check out Tim Sharkey’s run from Point Pleasant to Atlantic City running outside……in a 13 foot bullet with a JoHo 60 Sst. Great videos from stern to bow with shots of seaside, barnegat and Atlantic City. He even ran a few miles offshore to dodge a storm. His trip back was on the inside and was even a tougher trip due to a storm.

I was heading in on my boat when I saw him launching at the Canal ramp-didn't know any records would be set that day

Those are great videos, thanks for posting. On a side note they did an incredible job on that ramp and the decking around it.Last edited by 282; 08-08-2023 at 06:55 AM.

Yes they did.
I can only hope the two gentleman I helped pull their boat off the rocks caught some fish and got back home safely. It was only their 2nd time launching the boat.
Long cords for a dock line. I tried to educate them on the importance of proper dock lines. They thanked me and were apologizing for taking so long at the ramp. I said no need to apologize, we all started somewhere and just glad I was there to help.

This route I know intimately since the 1960s. What makes this run so incredible is Sharkey ran it in a boat he built. In addition Tim took the time to slow down and photograph landmarks to document his run along with recording his GPS hour meter. No second guessing. Outstanding!
Thanks
