17th Annual Suwannee River BBQ , Party and River Ride November 9-12, 2023

Wow! 17 years running! Time to get ready for the BBQ and Party, River Ride November 9th - 12th, 2023. We will be having the usual big BBQ and Bonfire Friday and Saturday night, so please come by and have fun.
Covered dishes etc. are welcomed and bring your favorite beverages. We will have water and a few types of soda on hand.
We will be cooking out Friday and Saturday nights.

Please do not bring your boat to the property as room will be at a premium for parking. Bring your chair for the firepit.

Local hotels are as follows with the Days Inn in Chiefland with lots of boat parking and right next to BBQ Bills for breakfast. Quality Inn also in Chiefland just south of Days Inn. Is the a certain time and place most people meet and launch?

Not formally ,this is a laid back deal with different groups launching at different ramps at different times . Look up Suwannee River Boat ramp map , find US 19 as the center in Fanning Springs just north of Chiefland as a starting point . Look up Fanning Springs ramp , Clay Landing , Hart Springs , Purvis landing , Gornto Springs , Otter Springs and Ellie Rays . These are the major ramps . Usually people launch around 9 or 10 AM after the morning clouds burn off . Do a search on here as this is the 17th year !! See you there .

The River really can’t get any better than it is right now, everyone enjoy . I was there this weekend river was clean of debris , still some regular boaters and jet skies out there so stay alert and have fun

Joe it was a great weekend ! Hard to find an open weekend for me in November ! Perfect weather and great people plus we had a pretty good feed two nights in a row with some nice fires ! Try to make it in March . Hope Greg Terzian can get away and make it . Time to take the time capsule out of the garage Greg !!
