    Temperature sender.

    Who would install a sender like this? Gauge never read over 100 degrees. I put an original sender back in the head. Works perfect. Gauge goes to 140 and stays there. I think I am going to hook my water pressure gauge to the place the sender came out of.

    Dammit.
    Thats the funniest thing I've seen today.
    I know people who would do that.
    Top of the block is not a good place for a water temp sender anyway cause that is on the immediate supply side of the water. Before it has a chance to cool any of the engine really.

    put the temp in he head. Water pressure off the block or divider plate.
