    56 PSI regulator question

I just purchased a Diamond Marine built 260 with some mild porting. It has a 56 psi fuel regulator and was wondering if it should have a 30 psi unit. If so where could I find one.

    thanks, Carter Powell

Depends on the ECU with a 56 you can use a a-6 or a63 box curve 56 lbs with a gold 39 lbs you have to use a a5 or A48 personally I prefer the black 56

Whatever they give you it will need to be tuned. They send everything out fat to keep people from damaging their motor off their curve. They let you do that on your own!

I still think my question is what is needed for a motor to need a 56 PSI pressure regulator versus a 39 PSI regulator. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
