Thumbs up Really fascinating video of a gearcase that's barely in the water at 100+

The lower unit is a modified CLE with its water intake holes plugged due to the use of an external water pickup. The boat is an Argo.

That is awesome! The fast guys I know go up till they barely register water pressure. I go to 8psi or so to keep off the alarm. It it really amazing how they keep going faster with most of the prop out of the water.

Damn. What’s the owner going to do next? Put a pad on the back of the gear case to get more unwetted surface?

You start thinking about that Skeg after a long run going fast . And never use 1 that has had any damage to it on the Argo or Twister.

Gotta tune the boat to track very straight. Can't have a lot of torque in the steering system.

Ain't it great to have papa TRUMP back at the helm?

Interesting that you mentioned that, because I was thinking the exact same thing.
