I have an Sig P238 no problem. Of course I never walk around with a bullet in the chamber. Same with my Glock 26. Not the best thing to do if you need the gun in a big hurry.

Guns don't fire by themselves. I bet when they went off they were holstering or drawing the weapon. Or they were really dumb and had it in their pocket without a pocket holster.

There is a thing called "Glock Leg". The usual cause of "Glock Leg" is people having their finger on the trigger when holstering or in their pocket with no pocket holster.

I keep my Glock 26 chambered. The main thing is learning trigger discipline. There is also a device that replaces the rear cover on Glock slides that if the trigger is being activated will move. The way to use it is to place your thumb on it and if you feel it moving you stop.

The safest thing for me is no bullet in the chamber no chance of it firing. I noticed when I’m sitting down where there’s a crowd of people that gun can be pointing right at somebody.

I don't conceal carry since Louisiana lets you carry loaded in your vehicle. I just don't get out and about like I use to so I never got a CCP.

I have a Sig P365, no problems like that so far... I don't usually have a round chambered either though, I try not to go places where I might have to shoot somebody.

California has a lot of strict laws. With a CCP a loaded weapon must be on your person. If it’s in your vehicle, it must be empty locked in a separate box. The bullets must be locked in a separate box, and the clip cannot be loaded.

This is retarded. Its amazing to me that anyone would even publish or speak of an article about a "self firing" gun but this is what we live amongst in our society. I guess when we start hearing about autonomous vehicles (sleep driving) themselves and killing people it will be viable but this is idiotic. You pull, move, or snag the trigger on a chambered sig or glock-it will do what its designed to do (FIRE). This is why they are great defense weapons.

SIG did have a voluntary "recall" or "upgrade" on the P320 because (at least in theory) it could go off after being dropped (more than once)... but WTF, if I dropped my gun the first thing I would do is unload it and inspect it- so there could never be "multiple drops" without resetting the hammer/sear/trigger.
Are they throwing them at people?

Well we agree on both nothing in chamber and Glock 26, no this is real...

I would much rather carry a full-size gun... but they are a PITA to conceal.

I like my old Smith and Wesson model 59, but it’s a little big for concealed carry.

There is something to the P320 unintentional discharge... I haven't looked into it, but Milwaukee apparently took them off the "approved" list after some incidents.

They are a popular price gun and if you have a round in the chamber they will fire when the trigger is hit. I have several 320s and have not had an issue with any of them.

Carrying a .380 concealed whether its an S&W Bodyguard, a Ruger LCP, or a larger Sig P365, they are the way to go and keep a 1911 or full size revolver in your center console or saddle bag of the vehicle your are using. In Florida around 80% of my friends all carry concealed and the large majority use one of the 3 models mentioned. One of my clients is the 2nd largest gun dealer in the U.S. and we see their monthly product reports (lots of M&P laser Bodyguards going out daily).
