I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Warby at "Firewater 2000", put on by Sam Baker in Antioch, Illinois. I honestly didn't know who he was, but I figured it out pretty fast. I saw him again a few years later at the LOTO shootout. He was casually sitting at Shooters 21 Bar as all these guys who thought they were fast walked by him, not knowing he was sitting there. RIP in Mr. Warby - your historic world water speed record is flat out incredible. I hope the water stays flat for you and the "Spirit of Australia".

That's pretty cool. He seemed like a pretty friendly guy. Be fun to see a movie made aboot him.

Last I heard, he and his son were planning on breaking a new record together.
Australia was always very proud of him.
    RIP Ken.

I am not sure, but I do not think I have any heroes left. Starting to feel all alone.

RIP Ken Warby. One of the bravest, smartest, nicest, most polite person I have ever met.
