In this photo you can see they already have dug out the canal (behind where the trucks & cars are parked and the 4 house trailers) for the future slip. And at the end of the canal will be the future home of the forthcoming Offshore building.

After they dredged and started pumping out the canal's water (to concrete the seawalls), I remember seeing in the shallow water catfish squirming. Also, before the canal was concreted, our family dog a beagle was swimming across the canal and a gator got her in the middle of the canal. Small moments on Lake X.
