Larson. I had one (16' Senza with a 115 Merc.) back in the mid-80's. One can only hope their chopper gun construction has gotten better. Mine totally fell apart. They're not a performance boat. Originally Posted by apexfx

John Spaeth has the Vegas,VKing, Voyager, Valero, VooDoo molds. He still makes a few VooDoos, no demand for the others. Someone named Anderson had the AE21 molds and built at least one a long time ago

am I missing something or does no one built boats like Checkmate anymore,up here in Canada all we have are fishing boats no performance stuff.

Was a dealer since the ‘60’s!
Checkmates performance testing was done by them.
I post one of their videos every time some keyboard warrior bashes Checkmate.
As to your question, I think it’s the age old answer that no one would pay what a new one would cost.
