I'd love to see some Belle Glade pics too, the first time I saw Bobby race was there. He was kneeling in a 3 point hydro with a Jonrude, I think he ran out front till it got too rough, like lap two. I bought my first race boat from Mark, The Red Witch a 16' Sabre.

Big Cary
There was a guy I believe his name was Bob Klein who was A diving instructor down in Key Largo at the Ocean reef club he had a I believe a 50 foot Cary that he lived a board at the marina. Big Cummins diesels and capable of 40 mph. He was always taking people driving out to Carysfort reef in what was then the beginnings of Pennekamp Park. He taught my brother and I how to scuba dive pretty rudimentary back then. A lot of fun and the Reefs We’re still beautiful back then

...yes charlie, i think you might be correct, on dick genth being a part of, at least helping to market the michael peters designed maelstrom cats & this vee. dick got involved with numerous performance boat companies, usually only as a part owner, with one or two other money partners. he was never the main money man though, but always the hood ornament...
