Knives
Just a few. The cheap one is breaking in the more I work it. The Kershaws are perfection out of the box. I have more of them on order.
I have many more that belonged to my father. I have a huge Old Timer fold up knife, and a few others.

I've never been good at sharpening knives until I saw this video. Trip to HF and now I can shave with a knife.

I am a knife lover. I carry a Benchmade 551-S30V folding knife every day. I have 3 of the same model. Benchmade maintains them free. All you do is send them out to them, they take it apart, service it, lubricate it, sharpen the blade, and send it back. All free. I have 3 to keep 2 in rotation and one as a back-up.
I also own a few Randall knives. I ordered them back in 2004 IIRC. Received them 3 years later, they always have a long order back log. And when we are in a military conflict civilian orders go on hold while knives are made for active duty military.
Lastly I have a well worn and well used Leon Vietnam era fighting knife. I carried it for a lot of years when I was spending most of my time in the woods. As a foot note I wasn't in VN. It was over before I was old enough to enlist.

I still like my Buck 110. Drop of wd 40 is all it requires. And the blade stays sharp for years. Son has a kershaw launch 1. Lot lighter than the buck.

I still have my father's old Browning wet stone. Coarse on one side and fine on the other. Takes a lot of practice and discipline to use one though.
So I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have a Lansky setup and can get a knife sharp but never shaving sharp. I tell ya the belt sander is so quick and easy the Lansky is collecting dust now.
For a truck knife I like the Glock Field knife.

I also have one of those Kukri knives in the house. I use it like a hatchet in the yard. Great at dealing with saplings.
