Always thought dusting would have to be a blast and was given the opportunity about 20 years ago. I asked Chuck, the owner, what made him think i could fly a plane and his response was "I've seen you drive your Hydrostream." Had the cabinet shop rolling with several employees and couldn't pull the trigger to go at that time so woulda, coulda shoulda too late now.

Worked with a guy who was a Navy pilot who put himself through law school crop dusting. Many scary stories. The chance of screwing up is way high, with 0 margin for error. They build the good dusters damned strong, but no reason for it to withstand any more force than will kill the pilot just from sheer deceleration without any incursion into the cage. Little scary.

Ag Aviation was my major in college, along with minors in agriculture, agronomy, and automotive science. Wife got preggo and all that stopped. I have 70 or so documented hours in a logbook.
