New member...new (to me) Avenger

Hi!

Thankful for this forum, great resource - and here's a first post. I'm an Ontario cottager who enjoys some speed, and the practicality of lighter outboard speed boats for our lakes. I had a circa 1989 Hydrostream Voyager with a 220 "Laser Xrii" Merc for nearly 20 years, sold it a few years ago as started to get a few soft areas (that I had repaired) and engine was getting less reliable. Kind of missed it and when a neighbour was moving grabbed the chance to buy his very well cared for 2004 CeeBee Avenger Silhouette - very similar bowrider style to my Hydrostream, but in far nicer shape with a 2012 Etec 200 HO with about 90 hours!

Also from Ontario and had a 2003 Avenger with a 225 Johnson. Mine was a closed deck. Had it for 12 years. Very good solid boat. Now in a Liberator.

There are get together for our type of boats in the area. Look on Fastboats Canada on Facebook (I hate to recommend Facebook, but it’s there)
