    Fuel Pressure Gauge

Who makes a good digital one that has a long enough harness to run to the dash? Can be digital or analogue display, but I want the lead to be electric/digital not mechanical.

    Thank you all, Jacob

most electric pressure guages have a sensor/sending unit mounted on the pressure item whether its water, oil, fuel ect
and u run tour own signal wire to the guage
just like wiring up a fuel level guage to sending unit on tank
just have to match the ohms from sending unit to guage

Yeah I want one like that. A 1 wire signal. Everything I see online has premade harnesses (like for cars) and they are 3 wire sensors.

most old school analog guages are 1 wire signal
old school senerio,,,if u buy an autometer, livorsi, gaffrig, ect fuel pressure guage they also list the matching sending unit to go with it
so not to have mismatched ohms to read proper pressure
and old scholl sender will have 1 or 2 terminals ,,,,,
1 terminal is the signal,,,and sender must be grounded as these usually are screwed into an engine block already grounded
2 wire is 1 ground and 1 signal as these usually are on a rubber hose or a non grounded item

    new technology stuff
is 3 wire plug n play style
these mainly go to smartscreens and standalone ecus

The new stuff is way more accurate with the stepper motor gages no needle bouncing around they have built in filtering. Most old school resistive types will probably be low pressure for carbs unless that's what you want. I have a speed-hut in my boat 3 wire works great, 0-5v systems. I didnt use the factory harness just bought some 3 conductor wire.

Not sure if you found anything, but DynoTune makes a simple setup. Just installed one on my boat. Plenty of wire.

Darn I wish you posted that sooner. Yeah I ended up getting a regular car one with a 5v reference sender and 9 ft of wire. Then I soldered in an extra 10 ft of wire in the middle. Seems to work. The warning lights on it for low and high pressure are cool and obvious.
