Yesterday was 60 and gorgeous.

Today it turns back to ****.
Rain all day, then cold.

Repeat.

The worst is not seeing the sun for days on end.

I have an old '93 Z71 that belonged to my father. It already has the big 3/4 ton rear. My buddy has a front diff out of a 3/4 ton he offered for the project. Toying with the idea of building my own farm truck with a turbo LS motor and running it in 4 wheel drive through the quarter. It has plenty of patina with the clear pealing, etc. No one would ever expect it.

BTW I don't see how Ohio winters could be any more miserable than Louisiana. It may be a bit warmer at times, but the constant overcast, rain, and mud... What I call suicide weather!

BUT to pass the time, I am putting together another RC plane. This time it is a F6F Hellcat with retracts and all.

You need an RC plane. You have plenty of room! I have a Cessna C188 new in the box I make you a deal on!

Today it was 80..... 80 f**king degrees. Rain, hail, and tornadoes in the forecast. Up to 5" of rain predicted. Then it is back in the 40s for a low. If that temp swing doesn't make you sick!

...top pic is about 20 years old, of tiger woods ex elin nordegren's neighborhood, on the ocean in north palm beach florida. she bought a older large home, tore it down, and built a new bigger home in its place, right there in the picture, on the beach. lived in it breifly, then sold it & moved into a slightly smaller mansion just west of there in palm beach gardens, you know...closer to the mall. the traffic in that whole area, even today, isn't bad at all...

I used to say that was as far south as you could get until hitting traffic.
In Sebastian, when snow bird season was over, you knew it.

Youd see your neighbors in Publix and say, this is why we live here.

We moved from there to Vero Beach, next town south. (7 yrs ago)
And hated it!

Less populatin than Sebastian but more blue hairs and more snow birds.
Down there, after snow bird season, it just sucked less.

Ray and Mick, who you met, still live there and hate it!
Much of Rt 60, main Rt from I-95 to US 1 is 4 lanes both ways.
At rush hr, it is bumper to bumper both sides, twice a day!

And full of blue hair developments.
So they pull into your 45 mph zone, in their 5 yr old Caddy doing 20!
Then they put on their Rt turn signal and turn left!
Across 8 lanes of traffic.

They kill a helmetless snowbird on a Harley once a month.

Ray and Mick say the local news is showing notes placed on cars w/NY plates telling them to “GO THE FK HOME”!!

I feel bad for my Cracker buddies down there.
