What is the biggest you have seen?
What is the largest HP outboard you have seen on 14 or foot or smaller v-hull boat without it being just an uncontrollable death trap?

In the 70’s I had a 28 hp Evinrude on a ‘58 14’ molded plywood Wolverine
33 mph
Plenty quick for a 12 year old!

Easy, Wildmans 13’ sort of Checkmate with a Promax. He is still alive, so not a complete death trap

I had a 16' Sabre was twin 120hp Chryslers with hi-speed gearcases, not sure how fast it was cause it would jump out of the water when you hit wide open.

15' Allison with a 150XS merc. It was fun, fast, and a little scary. Just right, IMO
