Iguanas here in the Keys are a big nuisance and love eating my wife’s plants. A lot of my neighbors shoot them with pellet guns but I can’t bring myself to kill them.

Catch them and ship them to Brandon in Delaware.

Droppings everywhere, eating everything, probably nesting messes, not much positive in them being around FL?
I'd plunk 'em before getting use to cleaning up after them.

Walked 12 miles this morning (marathon training). Came across this guy on A1A on the beach in Fort Lauderdale around 5:30. Only thing moving was his eyes.

...its pretty damn cold out right now. only going to be this cold for a day or two though. some will come back to life, but most i believe will expire. in 2-3 years they will be back in full force again. they are, of course, just another non-native that thrives here. the local news stations said last night that if you come across them, to kill them humanly. i was surprised they said that on the news, but thats what lots of people do of course, as they are a big nuisance species & it is 100% legal to kill them here. the lady next door grew up in panama & said they taste like chicken...
