    Custom jackplates?

I remember watching Wildmans video of the single 450r running over 120, that jack was a work of art, just wondering who builds such sweet Jacks? i been thinking of doing something like that on the ally, any insight would be greatly appreciated

That's awesome, but I did not see an option for 10" of setback, I think 17 which is what appears to be the least they offer would be to much in my app. ?

That str x act dynamic just may be going on my Christmas list, the 8.5 would be perfect, due to the trim being cut on my motor, kinda makes trailering home a little nerve racking thanks Cuda

Bob's makes a racing place with some skeletonizing:

The portabracket is nice but at $3,500+ not something I can afford.

Scott has a 6" and 12" in his race series line. The 6" only offers 3 inches of travel but is way more then needed on most applications. The 12" provides 6" of travel-I have these on my LCBs. They are approx. 50 lbs but are the only bracket that can say "have never caused a motor loss"--they are incredibly strong.

The 17" is designed for extreme setback and offers 12" of vertical travel-I run one on my toon.Click image for larger version.

    jack

I think that style was produced previously and reserected by porta. Could be wrong. Anyway, the concern I had was that as it raised the engine, it also moved it in closer to the hull. Not the optimum situation.

They don't move fore to aft enough to outweigh the benefits of strength and reliability. I have had them on every boat other then my allison.
