I like to see you contributing to S&F. HAHA. Just kidding. Thank you for posting. What was the issue out there? was there a roller that just stayed at the end of the course? looks like the boats were not changing anything by the end of the track but they still go over?

I haven't posted any of my last 5 builds on here, nor the new technology we are lucky enough to work with. Too much negativity here, I do my best to stay away from. No rollers, no gusts, just **** happens.

Only way to overcome negativity is with positivity. Not sure that's a word. Haha. Share some builds. Happy boating to all.

    Those damn OMC's - too much Power[/QUOTE]

Not If they raced by cubic inch's

The Merc is the most efficient but size matters, no one been able to make a large one stay together at 10,000 RPMs some of those 2.5s turn 11,000.

Back in the old days we called them grenades but Monty has made them pretty dang reliable.

This is an outstanding thread with excellent pics, each of which are worth 10,000 words…
Thanks very much, Kevin. This is the kind of stuff that makes this site great.
Thanks to Speed Jr. too, for posting the videos of the two blowovers. They both look damn scary, especially since they’re on the big end and both were coming off the throttle.
Now I don’t want to inject any negativity, but as someone else mentioned, it would be really nice if the ODBA site could be updated, since there are folks like me who are overseas and would like to know in advance when these events will take place. Would like to see this new “Jasper” site myself. Maybe next year, if people can actually still travel then.
