Please say a prayer for Bob Leach, founder of Eliminator Boats. I talked with his family and friends the past couple days and he his not doing very well. Thank you Todd Lamb

Bob is alive and well the Facebook post

History... I did not know Eliminator went down In the crash caused by George Bush and company ...

Eliminator was such a Iconic Brand...

Bob took me for a test ride in his MVP 19 at the Clearwater Causeway 1983 but

I became friends with Kim Howard who was the reigning MVP world champ and bought a Sleekcraft SST instead.

You two always try to make a big deal about nothing...

As much as i didnt like the idiot, moron and would like to blame it on him, the cause of it was started before him Clinton and the everyone gets a house is the reason the market blew up...banks were made to give everyone a home loan so when they couldn't pay later on boom.

</figcaption></figure>The financial crisis was primarily caused by deregulation in the financial industry. That permitted banks to engage in hedge fund trading with derivatives. Banks then demanded more mortgages to support the profitable sale of these derivatives. They created interest-only loans that became affordable to subprime borrowers.

In 2004, the Federal Reserve raised the fed funds rate just as the interest rates on these new mortgages reset. Housing prices started falling in 2007 as supply outpaced demand. That trapped homeowners who couldn't afford the payments, but couldn't sell their house. When the values of the derivatives crumbled, banks stopped lending to each other. That created the financial crisis that led to the Great Recession.
