neutral gear
I have a questiion, a friend of mine claims that the 2000 pro max 300 did not have a neutral gear and that you either started in forward or reverse. I could swear that the motor had a neutral . your thoughts.

no neutral?? hmm all lowers when they leave the factory have a forward and reverse gear neutral is a state of not being in either one of those , lots of people start in gear with big horse power motas to preserve the gears by not letting them slam into place as they all turn at the same time while running only to be engaged by the dog which is spinning also
