    Insurance for a 21ft Superboat?

    Hello,

I am considering getting a 21ft Superboat with a 300hp. One of the problems that I have run into is finding someone to insure it.

Any suggestions for someone that know that boat? All the usual companies (Progressive, Geico) wont insure it.

    Thank you for your time.

I too have Allstate. They insure my Paramount with a 250 and a triad v21 with a 2.5. usually the key question is how fast does the boat go? rather than how many horsepower it has.? At least that's my experience.

Are you sure that 3.0 liter motor of yours makes 300hp? Could be just a 225 under that cowl.

    I don’t recommend that method....

Wozencraft will find you coverage. They insured my 23 action with a 300, 350, and a 400r.

Bump. Still looking. Being 1979 (completely rebuilt) and 21ft and 300hp seems to be a bad combo for insurance.

    Keep looking.
    Its out there.
I have no issues getting full, proper coverage on my Challengers......they start at 300hp and go up from there.
I’m with Nautimax but I don’t believe they operate in the US.
