The title line, "Twister I" shown above, is a misprint or a mistake by the author. The motor pictured is obviously a TII.
The 1250 BP, 1250 SBP, Twister, Twister I, Twister II and TIIX were all built to be legal U class motors. You were allowed to 'step up' a class and run them in S class.
If you modified the motor, such as adding stacks to the BP or putting a SSM lower unit on the Twister, they became S class motors and were no longer legal for U class competition.
All TII's were built using six Tillotson carbs and Twister I's used three.
Technically the ad is correct stating the TII is legal for both classes. However it really wasn't necessary to include S class.
