    Thats some jack weather for sure! Location of that shop is Ireland and it does look like Ireland to me. Sure glad I never go out in that stuff...even though last Sunday was damn close.

    Cool

    My last trip across the Atlantic about half way across we hit a Hurricane . 40' seas and we normally went 240 mi per day ,,, a 550' ship , in 3 days we went 17 miles. your bunk you had to stuff life jackets under the out side to wedge you against the bulkhead to keep you from rolling out. no sleeping , just rest. FUN OUT
    most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

    Thunder Child bow's waterline is higher-up nearer the bow's deck, because of the narrow beam at the bow area than the Barracuda. The conventional hull of the Barracuda looks to be able to handle bigger waves head-on, bow riding higher over the crashing waves than the Thunder Child.

    Although in calmer seas albeit Thunder Child cuts through the smaller waves/wakes, and has less pounding then the wide berth Barracuda.
