Mariner color
Nobody wants to share a paint code for a mariner so I put the old MK82 eyeball on it and it’s pretty close. It

I would say that's a close match in fact. I have mariners and an Iconic silver 21 truck.
83 V-King, 96 Mariner, ff block 2.5 w/a 28p chopper

Well shoot...I might just paint my cowl that color too. I've been looking for a color code for that light mariner paint too.
Anyone have any tricks for painting the old efi BP cowls? Factory 2 piece plastic. The plastic doesn't seem to like paint (it fisheyes) and on top of that the cowls are so flexible I would worry about paint developing spiderweb cracks over time. Could I take it to a super good autopotive paint shop and just tell them to paint it? Does it need some special paint thats flexible? Would yall recommend 2 stage or single stage?

Sand it down good and then adhesive promoter then spray sealer then paint, body shops paint plastic every day
