The #10 boat was very patient in this race. He just hung out and waited till the camera boat got caught out a little in the turn onto the front straight. I was impressed by the racecraft of both drivers. Both handled overtaking traffic very well.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Here's a little more info on this race video. At 39 seconds Sam Miller and Rob Rinker #10 bump hard in the corner.
At 48 seconds they both almost blow over in a big way! Sammy keeps his foot in it and recovers first and leads until traffic.
Here is one of the shots at the 48 second mark from shore.

In my opinion David Burgess was by far the best independent tunnelboat builder.

To all you Mercury people here at S&F
Today is a big day...Mr. Bill is turning 80.
Happy Birthday to probably the best tunnel boat racer ever..and for sure the best spokes person for the sport.
The picture of Mr. Bill and me is from a fishing tournament at Lake Truman 2009.
Always a fun time with the Seebold family.
