Which driver was most consistently the fastest OMC driver, when the team/independent drivers had very similar boats & engines?

    Fastest ...

    V4 driver?
    V6 driver?
    V8 driver?

    Absolutely @Rotary John
Barry Woods is one of few who successfully raced the OMC V4-Rotary-V6 cross-flow/loopers and the V8.
A fun, brutal, wide open racer. Fun to hang out with.
We all are thinking about him struggling at older age..

There was a club with several of these in it in Mt. Dora area that as a kid after the races they would drive down the boat ramp and go out in the lake, I always thought it was so cool back then.

Yes...every year at Tavares. Not sure about the "cool" part though.

Yrs ago one sank at dock at one of the Erie islands.

They ran them at a few of our kneel down races too.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
