Thread: Meth/crack head on my street....

Wow, after reading all this I sure am happy that I don't have any of this in my life. Its my biggest fear for my little guy. I had some friends growing up that got into it, and it never ends well. Even if you can get out of it, it will haunt you for life.

Seeing the ones that you love and care for "not be the people you know" is a living nightmare. I have had alcohol addictions within my household all of my life and am very lucky to have learned from it rather then join it. I have no desire to "escape reality" and risk everything for myself and the ones that depend on me. Boats, bikes, cars, and sleds will fill any adrenaline fix that I need. Unfortunately, people feel the need to mix those activities with drugs and drinking and I am finding myself in more of a defense mode rather then the offense that I enjoy so much. Our leaders are NOT helping this issue by legalizing the "soft" drugs that often lead to the use of "hard" drugs. The only difference between "soft and hard" is the amount it takes to kill you or others in your path.

Worse comes to worse you could dig a deep hole and place some crack rocks leading to the hole with a crack pipe and lighter on a thin board over the hole. If he takes the bait just back fill the hole and problem solved.
j/k
Gotta pray for God to guide these troubled souls to the right path. Not much more we can do for them.-----------------------

The problem seems to have taken care of itself.
The good news, I saw him and the dog walking down the street w/a flash light.
I woke up at 3:00 AM decided to look out the bedroom window to see if my landscape lights That I had worked on yesterday came on and saw that!
I called 911. I was shocked that the firemen were able to save what they did.
The wind was howling and flames were shooting 20 feet out of the roof when they arrived.
5 mins later itd of been burned to the ground.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

That will just attract more crackheads. I hear they love delapidated houses. Better buy a P.A. system and be ready to play Slayer.

Time to buy the land contiguous to yours. I do it anytime the opportunity presents itself. You better walk over and have a conversation with granny about what it takes for you to grab whatever land you can.

It’s across the street from me.
His granny just auctioned off the 30 acres of farmland behind us.
She had another 5 acre plot beside the crack house that did not sell.
99% sure the house was not insured so it will likely sit a while.
My guess is granny will offer grandson a shot of combining the two lots, auction it off as one and split the proceeds with him to help get him back on his feet.

This morning.
Firemen must have pulled the plywood off the windows to get to the fire.
He had almost every window bored up, after freaking out and smashing them all!I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

To all of the people feeling bad for the druggie, he took his dog and walked away when the fire started.
The wife snd I just read on fire departments site, that they didn’t know that!
So those fkg guys risked their lives……, by going into a burning house to look for survivors/victims!
If crack boy had the basic humanity to stay there so he could tell them, I live there, alone, no one else inside!
Like Rush always said, once you’re a victim, nothing is ever your fault again!I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

Sounds like an insurance scam to me.
If my house caught fire I would be doing everything I could to put it out.
I have a LARGE fire extinguisher in the kitchen, just in case.
Looked like a nice house, that is a shame.
