Viper is a blast to drive with 12" inline power

Ran 76 mph yesterday, at 6300, spinning a 14.5 30 lab cleaver, I need to go up on the engine height more, and probably go up to a 32. shot some video looking back. https://youtu.be/BUusTX239rcClick image for larger version.

Gorgeous build, two big thumbs up. Where is the prop center line in relation to the pad located now?

    Awesome!
I would love to see some engine/lower unit/power trim related pictures. Many years ago, before the Black Max, we rigged a T2 on a bass boat and installed a shifting lower unit. Fabricated a shift lever at the lower unit with a Morse cable to it. No way to use a stock shift linkage. Used the Mercury lightweight trim rams. Worked really well for what it was. Loud and thirsty for a bass boat.

Just something about that sound of an inline 6. Should be 4-5 more mph there.

This powerhead is a bone stock 88 adi 115, so it should be 115 at the prop, I haven't had time to assemble the t2x powerhead yet

I even wanted to keep the rideguide wheel with hydraulic steering, and tried to use the oldest guages I had to keep the vintage vibe

I ran a 78 Viper with a 78 1500 XS 28p chopper bolted to the trans. Best ever was 82 (pitot speedo) at close to 7k r's. Yours is a very fast hull imo.

Don't blame you. Love the old Ride Guide wheels. Do you shift the lower unit? How is that hooked up?
