See the SRD racecars decal on the quarter panel .. It might as well said , Bill Jenkins , Ed Quay , Richie Zul , Ken Dondero , Frank Iaconio and Walt Weney. The minute that the Grumpy's Toy X (10) cleared tech .. Those guys changed door slammer racing forever ...
Sometime in the 80's Weney bought the assets and incorporated them into S+W.
Diamond Marine .. err .. racecars was on the SFI board right around that time as well.
Those guys were like the Beatles , incredibly talented , way ahead of their time .. Just couldn't make music together any more .. and each went their own way to further success ... and yes Zul brought what he knew and learned from the cut throat world of P/S racing and helped bring offshore motors up to speed ..

I think the next set of rejects I'm throwin on the boat should bust 100 ... on mule

Did a little lookin ... I remember they got wise and went back to 32 cars. I hated to wear a HANS , so the new rule was no 200+ without it . Lot of people showed up so I had to be quick but slow . Goin fast is like bein in jail , ya don't count the days .. goes by, and they throw ya out when your time is up ..
Now mind ya, I didn't have no fancy numbers spittin, Budweiser enhanced GPS.
But they told me 6.601 / 198.79
How did it look .. 1.000 60' / 2.65 / 4.17 @ 175 1/8

Another look , soft early , and both wires lit from the 1000' to the stripe ..
6.744 @ 205.51
https://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCS...r2001#indextop
The cars are pretty adjustable .. best MPH I ever ran was local 209.89
I remember my dumb azz throwin the time slip away .. POS didn't go 210 I don't want it ... Lesson learned, I thought I was gonna strap in for another 100 years. Never know when the doc is gonna say .. My friend your done !
It seems that the "If my aunt was my uncle" combo is legal around here ..
So if my aunt was my uncle and I put a 2.73 gear in the car and took it to the Texas mile ... I could claim ..

Push the button .... survey says ...
What a POS ... no 300 .. Pppffftttt I aint keepin that .. uoppp never mind ...
