    155+ in a turbo Porsche race car at various tracks out on the West side of things.

    135 or so on I-15 in So-Cal in my big-motored 914 street car (Had it over 120 on a stretch of two-lane out here in Texas).

    140 give or take on my ole Kawi cafe bike (I-15 again).

    On water, only about 60 or so on the Colorado in a friend's Mercruiser V-bottom years ago. Don't remember what kind of boat it was...

    And finally, 47 mph on a stand-up skateboard. There was a long, smooth dead end road where I grew up and we used to skate down it paced by a car to determine our speed. He also saved us from having to walk back up...

    But what was your torque converter slip? At 0% that's almost 170 mph!!! What car and what small block?

    Yeah, 327's would wind up. Mopar 340's too. I guess the ford 302's would if you could keep head gaskets in them

    Lancia.....Flimia zaggto….Sorry My spelling is ABET...…...Broke mY teeth on a a SP 250...….Abarth osca 1600 alllamno…..and my moms.....1966 chevy wagon...…...darn the good old Dazzzs….Had a pix of the Lancia.....convt….. with a 4 cam buick in the background......Repca….. went to bill smiths …...INDY.... speedway collection......Had at least 10 hemi cars in the day......My mom like the 1969 dodge charger 500 ……..went to the Bronx in that car...….Bought a 1969 rr conv for mom.... $500 bucks...…..so was the times......
