When I lived in Tallahassee, we called areas west of us LA. That guy fits right in.

Almost ashamed to say my first formal training was at the OMC training center on Miami Gardens Dr. in Miami in 1969, after this.......

Speaking as a retired Engineer who has stored hundreds of pontoons in his "other" career, I find it somewhat shocking that they set the pontoons directly down on the rack cross members. Point contact is not good for the logs.

...the dented cylinders help prevent them from sliding fore & aft. see how much of the back end of the cylinders are hanging off the bar? none. hence the term "barnone". silly engineer. you guys don't know nut'n.

...you wouldn't believe what miami gardens is like nowadays. was a very nice area for the first 20 something years initially. has been one of miami's worst, most dangerous area's since the 80's...
