The first advertising with Quicksilver as one word, earlier it was 2 words Quick Silver. Still old enough to have the "M-" part numbers

Also note that this Quickie lower unit also fit under the standard tower, the Q tower was new unto itself.

By far the best. Bold.. No Nonsense. Even at the kicker motor level. I think the chrome halo's helped. Blue scheme? Not so much. Thank goodness red came back with racing products and the XS line but still wasn't like the 69 red. Even the 2019-2020 V8 ProXS line has this subdued tint of red. Wimpy to say the least.

Shows the 650XS as 90 hp, 6000 to 7000 and leaded premium fuel.
I often ran my 650XS on my Seebold SE tunnel between 7200 and 7500 rpm. Always ran AV gas at 18:1.
Some of the other 650XS guys told me they were turning up to 7800 rpm.
