SST 120 Midsection Transom Bracket Advice neededHi All,

I have a 12 inch mid which I have just removed from my F2 tunnel boat and noticed some play between the transom bracket and the swivel bracket held together by the tilt tube.

My question is there a set of wear bushes over the tilt tube, I cant seem to find any part listing.

I would think a well lubricated firm fit is how its meant to be with bushes or is this a metal on metal ??

If anyone has experience with these please share.

 Regards Wayne.

Definitely not an sst, but my 200 has the single ram trim and it moves around a little at the tilt pin, but as soon as any load is on it, me pushing back of motor, it tightens up and doesn’t move at all. I was just gonna leave it be but if any of you guys have a fix I’m down. 83 Baja 20BR- 2.4 200 67mph gps

06-05-2020, 07:42 AM #3I've had lots of 12" mids. The tilt tube is metal to metal. If you look at the parts list there are no bushings. 2005 APR FORMULA 2 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

 Thanks Guys,

Pulled it apart today and yes as per the parts list its metal on metal.

I will discuss with a machinist and see which way is the easiest/best way to go

larger shaft and keep as metal on metal or bush it

 Cheers Wayne
