    Anyone make their own labels???

Like for switch panels, breaker panels etc.

Gonna need a bunch for my Convincor project and want them to look professional.

Snooped a bit and found some for under $100 that look decent but would like to hear from anyone who has done it.
These even showed color and font options.

No more marking up masking tape.

    Thx guys.

you can buy label makers, but they look kindof trashy. if you get on jegs i know moroso/ longacre and switch panel manufacturers sell sticker packs for switches extremely cheap. they come with the parts usually and im sure they sell replacements

...have always designed the panels completely from the start & had either the panels labeled or the switches themselves labeled & lit or backlit by a panel maker. don't know where you are in the panel process, but you can just buy prelabeled switches. keep it simple. homemade labels look like homemade labels.

I know of the sticker/label kits but not what I want.

Normally I make my own panels and w/this project, they may be redone a couple times so cheap is good but ugly ain’t good.

What size font/decal are you looking for?
    And vinyl or hard plastic?
Saw some on eBay when I was looking will see if I can find them again depending on what your looking for..

    Vinyl

I just ordered deck fill ports for the VRO tanks on the Convincor and could only find what I wanted, were already marked gas.
So that will be the first two.
For on the deck by the fill caps.

    Thx Mike!

That is what we use locally. Our shop can do complete dashboards with holes for switches, throttles, gauges, and any lettering that we specified. All done to order. I’ve had them done out of acrylic or composite board with contrasting lettering.

Seaton can make just about any type of label you desire. Have you thought about Black-Engraved to White or any other color combo?

The rocker switch picture reminded me of this funny boating video . This guys switch was not properly marked so it could have been an accident I suppose ?
