    My customers boat.

BTW, KeysDave told me he had a 2.5 on one that ran 80.

I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

When I get to the Newport, it will have a pad "like the 15' that I did has", and I am putting a 15" 200XS on it. Dave Driefort had a Montauk with a 260 on it that ran 82 mph. He said he loved that boat as much as any of them.

I can't imagine going through the process of building everything when all of this available and comes finished. These guys make it easy to go through and update any whaler. https://www.specialtymarine.com/coll...6-17-1961-1976

I found that stuff about the same time I finished the set for my customer.

I like challenging, head scratcher projects and really wanted to build that windshield.
The angles were fun but I admit being a bit nervous cutting the inset and grove for the window edging after getting the angles down and everything assembled.
Those are actually safety glass panels.

I’d be interested to see their repop PCs.
The orig that I duplicated had flat mounting pads even though the deck it mounts to is at angle.
And surprisingly the pcs were only screwed together and not glued.

So w/use, the console and benches work themselves apart and screw holes strip out.
Was salvageable but w/labor, new was cheaper/better.

I glued and nailed mine back together and matched the bases to the floor.
