Who watches ( likes ) the mock NASCAR “racing” ? Guess it’s better than the Halmark Channel ??

Never heard of it, whats it all about? I did see the F1 H2O guys were doing some sort of live stream racing game, is this similar?

I thought all NASCAR races were "mock". When the races were supposedly real, NASCAR seemed to have a habit of throwing a late caution to let either Kyle or Jimmie catch up. I never imagined a day where watching others play video games would be considered entertainment.

Bigger question, is - are there any I-racers on S&F? I have had a homeade simulator for approx 10 years now. Its stored in attic rt now. havent raced in 4-5 yrs.
But the current racing has me getting the bug
Also, know that I live in the middle of nascar!

Yikes, as if NASCAR wasn't bad enough as is. I don't know I just don't find watching someone play a video game entertaining. I've got WAY to much other stuff I could/should be doing. I guess its something to keep a spotlight on the sport though, its really weird how things like sports and that can just fade away in a time like this.

I've never used Iracer. I've been sim racing since the first Papyrus Nascar Racing. I have Nascar Racing up to 08-09 I think, Microprose F1 multiple years of it, GTR 1-2, Colen McRae Rally, Dirt 1-3, Grid but haven't played it, Grand Turismo 5, Porsche Unleashed and Microsoft Monster Truck. The few times I've tried playing online it seems like it was full of idiots that just wanted to wreck other players. So 99% of my years and years of sim racing have been offline.
I use a G25 wheel and pedals, a Plastic race seat with a padded cover and built a "cockpit" out of 2x2 and plywood to mount the wheel and pedals.
I have no idea the hours of sim racing I've done but it's a ton.-----------------------
