Hasn’t changed, just got out of boating. Shoulder got to bothering him, so started putting his creativeness into hot rodding Mopars. He’s been building some cool unique projects. Life, kids, and work has prevented me from going and hanging out with him in awhile (when ya go, ya need at least 6 hours lol), but need to get down there and check out his latest. Him a Dabull on here are big buds and hang out a lot.

He’s a once in a lifetime guy.

Last I heard he was bracket racing a mini van he put a big block Mopar!

I first met him at the Rumble on the River and my red neckitist instantly bonded w/him after he showed me the homemade drag plate on his motor.
Was an old STOP sign and you could still the S and the T on the bottom of it !

A pc of trivia for done of you:

He has a debilitating illness that makes it very difficult/impossible to walk.
At that point he walked very short distances w/two canes and had a sit down scooter for farther distances. It did great wheelies!

Anyhow, He was drag racing his Laser w/the Chissler motor (a Merc w/a Chrysler cowling because Merc wouldn’t sponsor him) and he converted it to hand controls so he could still race it!
The dude was pretty much in constant pain yet I never heard him complain!

At a race in Houston, I saw both of his canes laying on the ground by his trailer???
He was under the trailer changing a broken spring!

Love that guy!

Both are on my very short A list and are motivation for a visit.

Definitely one of those guys you just like to hang out with!! Every time I talk to him he’s either already gotten rid of the last project I saw or done started on a new one, I can’t keep up with him lol. I haven’t yet met Bill, but from the stories I’ve been told, another great guy!

Ha! I remember posts about the Chissler! FUNNY stuff! And as a Mopar fan myself, I am just more endeared! lol
