So you don't have health Ins. ?

They have many new procedures now, I have a ACL from a dead person in one knee, snapped it back in 1985 in my new Sleekcraft MVP boat it never made it to a race was a 400 lb boat evenfire crank new block, So I said to the Doctor I'm now going to set off the alarm going through security at the airport, He said no and showed me a picture of the type of screw they used it attach it said it will dissolve and my body will absorb it It attaches to the bone like a normal one in time, CRAZY
He said my bones are in very good condition not everyone can use that type of fastener, the lady after me had to have regular screws installed.

Best of luck Dave we may differ on politics but you have always been civil, Thank You hope it all works out.

Yeah I have Medicare. The Ortho place I went to said they wouldn't cover me because I was in a car accident and the auto ins. would have to cover it. Then I was told there wasn't enough auto ins. to cover the surgery.

Now fast forward to today. Got a call from my brother this AM, just before I was about to go schedule things with the state run hospital, and the original lawyer I wanted to see is back from vacation. He's my brothers neighbor. Got a call from this lawyer and he said don't go to state hospital I wasn't told the truth by the Ortho clinic I went to.
Long story short, I have an appointment next week with a top notch Ortho doctor who agreed to do my surgery on my current health insurance. Yeah!!! Prayers work people!!! Treating people the way you wish to be treated works!

Never lose faith, if you follow God you will never be given more than you can handle. Thank you all for the prayers and kind thoughts.

    Glad it worked out Amen.

My Wife just signed me up for Medicare with all the supplemental coverage insurance it's less than 1/2 of the insurance I had with a $7,500 deductible,

    I need a new hip for 2020.

my friend had her surgery the day you wrote this. They screwed her kneecap back together with three long screws. The first two days after surgery were really bad with the pain. going on the fourth day now and much better. Best to plan on not moving for at least two days except to go to the bathroom and plan on being in a recliner.... get all your stuff set upn a side table or two.

    Everyone deals with pain differently

When I was having the ACL installed the anesthesiologist tells me I'm going to be in the worst pain I've ever been in, never heard that speech before, about 6 hours after I asked my wife who is a CCRN when is this pain going to begin, She said anyone else would have started taking the pain pills by now, no pain, was limping around the job site the next day...

You are lucky then CUDA. First two day after the accident I was in the worst pain I've ever been in and I've had 11 surgery's and stitched up 6 different times.
But this is the first time I've had a bone snapped in two. Things have gotten a little more crazy since my last post I'll post about it in a couple of days when I get it all figured out.

    Thumbs down

Well this isn't starting out to be a good year for me at all.
I know I never updated about all the stuff with my knee but I didn't wanna bother y'all with all the crap that was going on.
    Knee Problem:
Finally got to see the Dr. on the 16th. The appointment was suppose to be the 27th of Dec. but the 16th is what his office told me.
Well the Dr. was all mad I didn't see him on the 27th, acting like it was my fault. Says he's not sure he can operate now. So I had an MRI and sent the results to his office. I had an appointment for today but his office called Monday and rescheduled me for the 21st. They said he has to preform an emergency surgery today.

    EYE PROBLEM:
Anyway on to my new problem. For those that don't know my right eye is paralyzed and I can't see much out of it. So everything that I'm about to describe is in my good eye.

Last Friday I dozed off watching TV around 10PM. I woke up about 15min later and my vision was blurry. I could tell something was in my eye. So I go to the bathroom and wipe my eye with some tissue. I look at the tissue and see blood. Yep my eye was bleeding. I look in the mirror and see blood building up where my lower lid meets my eye. I wipe again and more blood builds up. So I try and get the bleeding to stop and no luck.

So I go to the ER. They work on me for about 45min and finally get it to stop bleeding. I hear the DR. quietly say, to the nurse, something about a tumor and that my eye pressure is high, glaucoma. They CAT scan my eye and then they transfer me to another hospital in town that has an eye doctor on call. I see them and they set me up an appointment with another eye doctor in the AM. Spent the night at the ER. At least the second hospital had TV's in the individual ER rooms.

Go to the eye doc and she say's it looks like narrow angle glaucoma and I'll need to come back Monday and another Dr. will use a laser to burn holes in my eye. Go to the Dr. on Monday and he says he doesn't believe I have narrow angle glaucoma and made an appointment for me to come back in a few weeks to see how my eye was.

Fast forward to Thursday, yesterday, and I feel something in my eye again. I go to the bathroom and examine my good eye and see this white thing on the side of it. I touch it and it starts bleeding. So I try and get the bleeding to stop and am able to but I have this red mucus thing hanging out the corner of my eye. So I pull it and it detaches and the bleeding starts again. I get the bleeding to stop again but another red mucus thing is hanging out the corner of my eye again.
Well I pulled it out and the bleeding starts back. Same thing, I get the bleeding stopped and red mucus thing hanging out. Only this time the white lump I saw on the side of my eye comes out with the mucus stuff and now the blood is flowing pretty good. I get it slowed down and look in the mirror and see another growth on the side of my eye. But this one is attached pretty good so I leave it alone.
I saved the white piece that came out of my eye in a tiny bottle filled with water and some of the red mucus stuff too.

So after 30min. and it's still bleeding I think to myself I only have one good eye, it's time to get to the ER. Get to the ER and the bleeding stops. The Dr. inspects my eye and sees the growth on the side of my eye and tell me it's a tumor but my eye pressure is now normal. He tells me to go see my eye Dr. in the AM.

Just got back from the eye Dr. and I have a tumor on the lacrimal gland, tear duct, of my eye. Gotta go get it biopsied next week to find out what is going on. Dr. said it could be from my Lyme disease but not necessarily so but that the biopsy will tell if it's cancer or not.

So after this very long post, it's kinda my way of dealing with this crazy news, I could use some more prayers or your best wishes, please.

Be positive about whatever comes, I will definitely. Keep in thought and prayer, when my mom was diagnosed with cancer, she was so determined to beat it, one of the most stubborn but inspirational 100 lbs. (Soak and wet) people I have ever known, she has passed since, but her words and actions are something that not only I remember, but anyone who knew her saw also. Be that person for the people that care for u no matter what, if u need anything, let me know
