Did the SST-100 use the same mid section and gearcase as the V8 did? I considered buying an SST-100 at one time and dumping the engine and swapping it for a V6 to revive the era of the CCC / RS programs but the bottom line was just too costly.

The F1 V8 has a custom bolt pattern and so is the water and exhaust locations so the F1 V8 mid only fits the F1 V8
The SST100 is a slightly different casting and uses an adapter plate for the v4 and there is another plate for the V6
