[QUOTE=Fandango;2173931]Shouldnt you be spending your time breaking in that new motor so that your older brother can get a ride in the new vessel when he comes down next weekend, as opposed to building a lower unit stand?
If I break it in completely then I will be able to make some high end runs. Dont want to have to clean the passenger seat after the ride.1983 hydrostream v-king, 83 200 Mariner - sold

I was cutting a bunch of PVC pipe today and started thinking I could make a pretty nice, cheap, lightweight lower unit stand out of the stuff.

21' Paramount

lower unit stand
Finally built them. Thanks for the template. They work great. Made one too long but still does the job.

Another suggestion to simplify storage.
Cut a piece of 3/4” plywood approximately 14”X15” ” or what ever size your stand is and screw it on the bottom with 4 small casters so you can roll them around shop/garage very easily.
