In two weeks' time will mark a FULL YEAR I've been waiting for delivery of my Merc 4 stroke V8. I'm offended that Mercury Marine uses S&F to boast and brag about new high perf racing 4 stroke products and automated robotic propeller facilities when they can't even fulfill a stupid repower dealer order. If this engine does not materialize by the end of November I will walk away from this deal and never go with "Black" again.

A common story.
Marketing sells a product they’re not capable of producing yet or not far enough through R&D to where it should be.

I also feel for the people that wrote the check for the 300/350’s to see the 450 released 6 months later.
I would have burned a factory down!

If BRP would pull their head out of their ass and build a 400 hp V-8 E-etc (Had 300 V-8’s in ‘1985!)......, at 550 lbs......., 130 lbs lighter than the Merc...., they would own the market.

Thats just my opinion and I know nothing.

Lars Strom‎ to Evinrude - Johnson outboards. Facts, history, racing and future.

Well, going boating tomorrow with FBC and Mary was as always very helpful getting me a boat with very short notice.
The boats name is "Moulin Rouge", a 24' Tritoon.
I checked the FBCs website and its a stock picture with an Evinrude E-TEC V6.
Sad news.."Moulin Rouge" is rigged with a metric outboard.
My guess is:..soon everything around FBC going to be Brunswick boats with Mercury power.
