    Octane Booster

Running a 1999 300 PRoMax on a 21 Rally Sport. Stock engine. I have been running 93 octane pump gas from the gas station, but 89 is all that available at the local marinas. What is a good octane booster to use to treat the 89 at the fuel dock if I have to buy from the dock? And am I being too picky with the 93?

    Alcohol free 89? That’s rare

almost as rare as seeing a storage tank of 89. Normally stations run a blend pump 50:50 87/91 to average 89octane aki.

Rec fuel at most marina fuel docks. 89-90 octane eth free with valve-tec fuel additive.

I tested the ACES years ago with good results , I mixed it at double the suggested amount in a tank of 91 pump gas running in a motor turning 10,000 rpms and very high compression holding the motor at WOT for at least a mile , pulled heads after running 10 gallons of this mix through the motor , the motor survived with no issues ...I was amazed !!!
