Used to see his videos all the time.

I didn't know he died! He was my hero back in the '80's when I was in my 20's and skiing every day for the weekend ski tournaments in Oklahoma and Texas. I always wondered if I could continue skiing into my 60's as he was doing back then - and yes I still am. Thank you Banana George for the inspiration! R.I.P.

I still have a couple of old cypress gardens water skis. I used to ski 4-5 times per week so I was a HUGE fan of this dude. Holding the rope in his teeth bare footing ha what a guy

I'll never be that good but I plan to water ski and do masters competitive swimming for a long time. 61 now and wondering where I can find steroids and HGH when I turn 80.

Got hit in the head by a banana from him during one of our Christmas boat parades here on the chain of lakes. He loved his bananas and thru them out during the parade instead of candy.
