    I replaced the bleed lines about a year ago with one mercury hose,but on Saturday night i pulled the bleed line off 1 by 1 and blew thru them and checked the operation of the inline check valves and pulled each fitting out of the block and checked the valves and made sure they were routed correctly to the specs of the service manual for the 98 225 carb Click image for larger version.

    ****So I figured out my problem, thought I would share.. im completely embarrassed right now, but happier than hell I figured it out.
    All 3 of the port pistons are in upside down. Im not sure how I did it and looked dead at them while installing the heads.***

    as soon as i watched your video i was gonna say pistons are either upside down or wrong port to stbd...seen the exact same thing happen before....glad you got it figured out....

    Well I do check them on the flow bench .. and listen for an off note ...

    BTW ... vnemous , Universal Studio's called, they want the stunt double for CHIP's 2 back ..
