My 24 Eliminator with twin 300HP+ 2.5 Diamonds sounded the same way. Nothing like a pair of modded 2.5's at 8-9000 at 110-120.
One of the coolest boats I ever had.

The Talon 22 w/ twins is such a wicked animal. I had one briefly with twin 200XS's - I can't imagine one with twin 280's or drags ... Yikes !!!!!
