LOL!!! I have seen the truckers do their fair share of horrible driving. I just love it when they get side by side and race... And it takes them 10 minutes to pass. Or they are going up and down hills and one is faster going up and the other is faster going down.

I can appreciate that, they hold alll of us up. but my point is there are people that try to get in an accident so they can collect on a lawsuit. they SUCK!

The crap I use to see when I worked 24hr. call as a field compressor mechanic. My normal area I worked in was SW La. but I had to go on calls from Mobile, Al. to Rockport, Tx. Both those places are a 5hr drive from my house; on the interstate. I would drive, in my company 1/2 ton, from 15K-40K miles a year.
The crap I saw in those 6 years would make you loose faith in people's intelligence.

I can tell you, from my personal experience, females are the most inconsiderate/inattentive drivers in this area. The majority of the time, I'd say around 75%, if I encountered or witnessed an idiot driving it was a female.
The idiot move I see males do most often is passing you then pulling in front of you right before an exit. So they could get off at that exit. Even if there wasn't any traffic behind you.
One of the worst experiences I had was two women who passed me, pulled in front of me then hit their brakes hard so they could use an "Emergency Vehicle Only" turn around in the median of I-10 just as I came off an overpass.
Why did they do this? They missed the exit to go to the casino.

I could write a book on the common behavior I saw. Understand I always used my cruise control when traveling on the highway or interstate. I don't understand people that don't use their cruise control, it saves gas.
When I would pass someone on the interstate going around 2MPH faster than them there were three annoying behaviors that were common. I usually didn't encounter these behaviors if I was going 4-5mph faster than them.

You had the yo-yo's, they would speed up when you go to pass them. Then about a mile down the road would slow down again. They would repeat this behavior until I accelerated hard when passing them.

Then there was the ones who would pass you back after passing them and then slow down again. Again they would do this repeatedly until I would increased my speed by at least 5mph faster than them.

The last type was the ones I'd have fun with when I was bored and traffic was light. These were the ones that would speed up to match my speed as I passed them.
You would have to be going only one or two mph faster than them for it to happen. Any faster and they would realize fairly quickly they were increasing their speed. Most of the time I could get them to do about 5mph faster than they were traveling before they would realized that they had increased their speed.
But every now and then I could get one to go around 10mph faster than they were traveling when I was passing them. Those would give me a laugh.

All of this behavior, I believe, is because they were not using cruise control and were inattentive. Again the majority of the time it was female drivers. The last type of driver I talked about was almost always females.

I dated a women who wouldn't use her cruise control. When I asked her why her reply was, Because I want to be in control. Talk about a face palm comment. I'm thinking, you idiot you are the one driving the car, You ARE IN CONTROL!!!!!

Funny about playing with them.... I'd stay behind them just close enough to make them watch me in their rear veiw mirror, then slowly start to weave in the lane....they would be watching me so closely, they would stert weaving too.....

My wife needed a picture frame for a Xmas present... she looked all over for a 30x20" frame. She finally gave in and asked me to look. I found a dozen on Amazon that were listed as 20x30. I showed them to her through a text message. her response was...

Wife: I can't find any frames the right size
Me: what size is it?
Wife: 30x20
Me: Here are several.... 20x30
Wife: andddd I'm stupid.

The side by side driving that some 18 wheelers do is often caused by their speed limiter. Guy tries to pass at max speed allowance and the right-side lane truck may pick up 2mph for road grade or an unsteady foot. The left-lane guy cant get ahead due to speed limiter, and cant drop back behind because automobiles have already stacked up behind him. Not always the case for sure, but pretty common.

I realize that. That is why I really didn't place all the blame of the passer. But more on the idiot that could lift the throttle. That is my problem; they just don't give a damn about anyone else.

Paul I completely appreciate your frustration, I only run in city traffic and long highway miles I'm in a F 150, here in Fla trucks are not allowed in the left lane and most of the highways are 3 or 4 lanes wide so it's not so much of a problem.

if you notice the footage there are some that just display footage, I belive the Garmin displays day date speed, which is valuable in a legal situation concerning evasive manuvers to avoid an accident.
