I became a Fireman when I turned 18, but it was house fires and industrial fires, these are REAL scary.

That is what happens when the liberal Democrat wackos control the environmental gov "services". They won't let home owners trim the brush nor will they allow controlled burns.

This has been happening over and over all over Cali. There was one article I read where they wouldn't let you trim, kill, burn, or manipulate the natural brush because of a freakin' endangered RODENT!!! I have friends in Cali that confirmed this.

It damn sure sucks and for the most part was avoidable.

Are these fires able to take over due to the increased amount of vegetation Vs. what was there 50 years ago or did they burn the same and the areas just were not populated back then? CA. and CO. are scary places to be in recent years. I used to be afraid of tornadoes in the midwest as a kid, then it became the hurricanes down South as an adult, now this stuff is added to the top of the list due the vast path that they wipe out so quickly.

Climate change is making an impact.
They were doing a CONTROLLED burn last year, it became uncontrolled and over 16,000 acres burnt along with a few houses and my Can-Am Traxter.

They ( the park service) have tried to burn our 5 acre camp in the big cypress several times over the years with their "controlled burns". They always get out of control on purpose. They start the fires in the heat of the day in the dry season. The Seminole Indians always burn after a good rainy season and started the fires at night so the falling dew would keep the fire from badly burning trees and keep it mainly on the ground burning only small brush. Little different from out west. But same agenda I believe.

Note the funding for the Delta Smelt (an "endangered" minnow) is still the same. That is the same Delta Smelt that ended farming in the area. They were forced to give up irrigation ending their livelihoods. Liberals, proving you can't fix stupid!!! SMH.

What are the estimates 10 billion? So say 15 still less than half of what it's costing 1 state 18% of a states budget give me a fu@$&ing break..And I'm positive the figure is low..they can help them/illegals, but how many Americans are homeless on the streets because of that.
The streets are full of used needles that drug addicts get for free and piles of **** because it's ok..how about not spending it illegals get the addicts some help and hey throw in some damn bathrooms the state is turning into a toilet..
Colorado is next they passed resolution that ****ing in the streets isn't a crime anymore neither is camping on public or private property because it would lead to the arrest and deportation of illegals...see how they like it when they start camping and ****ting on the politians lawns guaranteed they will have them taken away than
