The new skinny Greg Scott (he lost 45 lbs.) did not reset his trim puter and pulled a wheelie for the record books, he was high and dry for a long time, never saw a boat go that high for soo long and come down straight and controlled, the first thing I said was "thank God there was a Gorilla in the front seat" What I meant was Greg was a Big guy so the extra weight up front in the New 1/4 master looking boat was advantageous to that situation, only to see him later 45lbs lighter, I guess running a no minimum weight class can be good for your health after all.

My one complaint is they’re just ugly IMO! Maybe some sponson extensions would help?

We could tell from the finish line you got a good jump on him, a rule was broken then by Jerry, giving you a win.
The way the new lights work green light will not come on if somebody is red but as soon as they slow down green will come on what people are doing is anticipateing the green and speeding up when aproaching the start Bouie trying to get a jump if they are speeding up same time jerry is turning green light on nothing happens until speeder takes foot off gas to slow down then light goes green and there foot is not on the gas nobody’s fault but there own if they don’t slow down Jerry will catch there red light and give them false start this all happens in about 2seconds so sometimes things go array and it’s at Jerry decision not a perfect system but keeps everyone pretty onnest !! Another thing most people don’t realize is false starts carry threw the class not each pairing so if u have a competition loss with a false start in any round your next false start puts u on the trailer no matter what round it’s in Or a total of three false starts puts u on trailer!! Saturday clouser got a second false start giving him a loss then he had a competition loss ending his day Sunday everyone acted much better at the lights in every class except a few in promod!! But we ended up running in two hours less time and more boats were ran Sunday

The QS1 bottom is pretty much modvp stv in the front with the pickles cut back, then transitions to the latest quartershot style with tunnel extensions in the back. Jack is a true innovator and as already said, an incredible asset to our sport. That boat is going to be a game changer.

I told him at eufala the stv modvp canopy on the green boat was fugly, but he showed me the internal roll bar and said it’s super safe. I get that. Greg’s boat has an open canopy a-la quartershot T2 - I think it’s gorgeous.

That is an incredible pic. That really shows the lines for sure. At first from the side view it looked like a q master but is way different.

That whole deal saturday smelt real bad and was almost Blatant. And Jimmy had ever right to bring it up and get a straight answer. When Jerry Freeman refused to answer him straight up then turned his Back on Jimmy and walked away . I have absolutely ZERO respect for Freeman now.

They had more problems with the lights on Saturday and Jimmy made an stink about a issue at the Sunday drivers meeting, about had Jerry Freeman crying , so I was suspect of the red to green deal Sunday

A few years ago I faught problems at the lights but freeman wasn’t working the lights. I was coming in the lights with Casey in pro drag and the light would never go green and no one threw their hands up nor did the red light come on. We did that five times then it finally went green. I raised hell Sunday morning at drivers meeting and told them there buddy system sucks. The only answered they gave me was Casey was lagging behind me and it was unfair. Casey told them he left better the slower he went that’s why he did it. Casey had nothing to do with the situation but they where trying to help him get a fair start . Racing is racing if u want to come in slower and give up a half boat u should be able to. I haven’t been back since. Needless to say they weren’t big fans of mine when I left !
