It was said that the "lifting strakes" that the customer had installed, caused it to barrel roll. Have no idea.

I still cant wrap my head around speed, and pontoons. Waste of a good motor on a good boat. Low and slow they make sense for party wagons and site seeing. Nothing cool about a supercharged mini van either

Lifting strakes can improve lift when well wetted, but also present a significant 'trip edge' that can really get in the way when maneuvering (turning). Gotta know what you've got!
